Accept payments

Take a card wherever the work happens, on real merchant pricing.

A reader that pairs with the phone or tablet you already carry, takes chip and tap, emails a receipt and deposits on your normal funding schedule. Same interchange-plus pricing as a countertop account — not a flat 2.9% because you are outdoors.

    • Chip, tap and mobile wallet from a paired reader
    • Works offline and uploads when signal returns
    • Interchange-plus pricing, not a flat app rate
    • Job notes, invoice numbers and emailed receipts

    What you get

    Mobile payments, set up properly.

Six things that actually matter, and what each one does for your business.

    Bluetooth chip and tap reader

A physical card read on a mobile device gets card-present interchange, which is meaningfully cheaper than keying the number into a form. The reader is the whole reason mobile pricing can be competitive.

    Offline capture

In a basement, a warehouse or a field with no bars, transactions store encrypted on the device and upload when the connection returns. Nobody has to say the card machine is not working.

    Invoices and job references

Attach a work-order or invoice number to each sale so the deposit reconciles against the job instead of arriving as an anonymous batch line.

    Tips and signature

On-screen tip prompts and signature capture where your business needs them, with tip adjustment after the fact for service work.

    Multiple users, one account

Each technician or driver gets their own login on their own device, with everything reporting into one account. You see who took what and where.

    Text-to-pay fallback

When the customer is not standing in front of you, text a secure payment link instead of keying their card over the phone.

Why the flat-rate apps get expensive

Flat-rate mobile apps charge one number for every card. That is genuinely simpler, and for a business doing a few hundred dollars a month it is fine. Above roughly ten thousand dollars a month it stops being fine, because you are paying the same rate on a cheap regulated debit card as on an expensive corporate rewards card.

Interchange-plus charges you actual cost plus a disclosed markup, so the cheap cards stay cheap. On a debit-heavy mobile business the difference is often several hundred dollars a month.

    Businesses this fits

    • Trades and field service — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pest control, mobile mechanics
    • Food trucks and market vendors, where a countertop terminal is not an option
    • Pop-ups, festivals and craft fairs with unreliable connectivity
    • Mobile pet grooming, detailing, lawn care and cleaning crews
    • Delivery and route businesses collecting on drop-off

    Practical setup notes

Charge the reader on the truck, not the night before — a dead reader means a keyed transaction at a worse rate. Keep one spare reader per crew if you run more than three. Set batch cutoff late enough that the last job of the day lands in the same deposit.

If your crews also quote work, pairing the mobile reader with emailed invoicing means the customer can pay on the spot or from their inbox that evening.

No. The readers pair with current iOS and Android devices over Bluetooth. If your crews are on older hardware, tell us which models and we will confirm compatibility before anything ships.
