This PAX card machine is designed to accept traditional magnetic strip credit and debit cards securely and quickly, with compatibility for Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners’ Club, JCB, and EBT cards. Equipped with an EMV certified Smart Card reader, the PAX 80 ensures secure acceptance of EMV payment types. An optional contactless reader allows merchants to accept contactless payments, including MasterCard PayPass and Visa payWave. The user-friendly, ATM-style interface ensures easy operation, while the built-in printer allows for fast receipt printing at the time of sale. The PAX S80 offers store and forward technology, enabling merchants to accept payments even without an available connection for authorization. The terminal can store payment information in its internal memory and process it for authorization and settlement later when a connection becomes available.
